Burning It
To get the most out of your candle, make sure to let it burn all the way to the edge of the jar during the first use. This helps create an even melt pool, preventing tunneling and ensuring your candle burns evenly throughout its life. A little patience now will give you a longer-lasting, more enjoyable burn every time!
Candle Care
How to Use Our Candles
Trim the Wick: Before lighting, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch to ensure a clean and even burn.
First Burn Matters: On your first use, let the candle burn all the way to the edge of the jar. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even melt pool.
Keep an Eye on Burn Time: Limit burn time to 3-4 hours at a stretch for optimal performance and safety.
Extinguish Carefully: When you're ready to snuff out the flame, use a wick dipper or a gentle blow to avoid any smoke and preserve the scent. Always allow your candle to cool completely before placing the lid back on. This helps preserve the scent and prevents any damage to the wax or wick.
Let the Wax Solidify: Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting for the next use.
Safety Reminder: Once the wax is about 1cm from the bottom of the jar, please discard the candle. Continuing to burn it past this point can cause damage to the jar, as well as pose a fire hazard. For your safety, always stop burning the candle when there’s a small amount of wax left at the bottom.
Enjoy the soothing, natural glow of your candle and the benefits of pure essential oils.
